Sunday afternoon with Alon

Decided to check out this curvy ledge near the Harbour Bridge. It's been around for ages but the ground is so rough it basically renders the spot shit. It's part of the area that almost became home to the city's first skate park. I don't actually know what it gets used for apart from a location to store the world's shittiest Christmas tree perhaps?
We loved the decorative features. I almost thought I was actually in the Alps!

Poaching Jaws

Here's another one from the roll of 120. Either the lab cropped it too much or I should have taken a step or 2 back. Still kinda cool. Price's shot can be seen in the new SkateboardMag with AVE on the cover. I was just tagging along.

More Preston!

Here's a photo I took with my Hasselblad from the beginning of the year. Saw it for the first time this morning because I had accidentally left the roll of film in Price's bag one day out skating in Sydney and he took it back with him to Arizona.

Also in the same issue a photo of Julius blunt sliding a very frequented sydney hubba.

New Randy sequence in the new SLAM I shot. Most graceful ollie to fs board bash I've ever seen. You have to watch his debut High5 part if you haven't already. Amazing.

I decided to have a play with it in PS.

Old Ass Camera II

I'm ALOT happier with this 2nd roll! Keeping the camera closed at all times (unless it was getting used) seemed to really make a difference... No shit.

Last but not least, here's what I can honestly say without a guilty conscience is the first ever skating photo taken with this camera.

High 5 in Aus

Preston, Randy and Price stayed at mine for a couple weeks after Bondi bowl a rama. Good times as always. I got a 7d (old slr died last year) for the last few days of their trip and was eager to shoot anything. Here's a little taste from a trip to Darling Harbour and a very hungover session at Matty J's local - Hunter's Hill skatepark...
Ollie over 2 rails. Really sick, hadn't seen anyone skate this before.
Tre flip the water gap 3rd shot. Underrated spot and skater.

Old Ass Camera

A camera my old man gave me that his old man gave him years back. Me and Price decided to try put a roll of 120 b&w through it. First roll since 1961 apparently...

My old man feeding the kookaburras.

Stoked that we came up with something, considering there was bound to be light leaks plus a lot of guess work.
I'm now halfway through my second roll...
